Assistant Professor, Kinesiology

Guillermo Escalante is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology in the College of Natural Sciences. He teaches various courses in exercise science/kinesiology as well as performs research in the areas of sports nutrition, biomechanics, and human performance. Dr. Escalante was the founder of SportsPros Physical Therapy/Personal Training Center, now called Edge Fitness and Physical Therapy Center, where he works as the Chief Operating Officer and with various fitness/sports rehabilitation clients to help them reach their goals. His fellowship project focuses on creating a Kinesiology Entrepreneurship Club, expanding the reach and impact for the CSUSB Disability Sports Festival, and assisting students in developing business plans for their final project in an exercise science business administration class.
